Refund Policy

Certification Program Enrollment Guarantee

SecureServe Academy™ offers a 30-Day Enrollment Guarantee™ on all certification programs. If you enroll and have completed less than 20% of program content within 30 days, you are eligible for a full refund.

To request a refund, contact support@secureserveacademy.com with your enrollment confirmation. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

Guarantee Conditions

  • Request submitted within 30 calendar days of enrollment
  • Less than 20% of program content completed at the time of request
  • Final certification exam not accessed or attempted

SecureServe Academy™ offers a fair and clearly defined refund policy for digital certification programs and Professional Playbooks™. This policy is designed to be straightforward and to protect both students and the integrity of the certification process.

1. Certification Programs

Refunds for certification program enrollments are available under the following conditions:

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • More than 30 calendar days have elapsed since enrollment
  • 20% or more of the program content has been completed
  • The final certification exam has been accessed or an attempt has been made
  • The purchase was made at a promotional, discounted, or bundled price

Payment Processing Fees

Stripe payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are non-refundable. When a refund is approved, SecureServe Academy™ will refund the purchase price less the non-refundable payment processing fee.

Digital Goods Policy

SecureServe Academy™ certification programs are digital educational products. Access to program materials is granted immediately upon enrollment. This policy reflects the standard digital goods refund framework: a limited post-purchase window with completion-based restrictions that protect the integrity of the certification process.

2. Profession Playbooks™

Refunds for Profession Playbooks™ and other downloadable digital resources are available under the following conditions:

Access conditionThe playbook must not have been downloaded or accessed through your account
Processing time5–7 business days after approval

Once a playbook has been accessed or downloaded, the purchase is considered fulfilled and is no longer eligible for a refund.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@secureserveacademy.com with the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account
  • The name of the program or product for which you are requesting a refund
  • Your order number or purchase confirmation reference
  • A brief statement of the reason for your refund request

Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval. Note that Stripe payment processing fees are non-refundable (see Section 1 above).

4. Third-Party Certification and Licensing Fees

Fees paid directly to third-party agencies — including state licensing boards, regulatory authorities, exam proctors, or other government or professional bodies — are not refundable by SecureServe Academy™. SecureServe Academy™ does not collect or control these fees, and has no authority to issue refunds on behalf of external organizations.

This includes, but is not limited to, state licensing application fees, notary commission fees, IRS PTIN registration fees, and any other government or agency fees associated with entering a licensed or regulated profession.
