Student Code of Conduct

Effective date: June 2026  ·  SecureServe Academy™

SecureServe Academy™ is a professional certification institute. Our students are preparing to enter regulated professions and serve real clients. The standards of this institution reflect the standards of those professions. This Code of Conduct governs all enrolled students.

Enrollment in any SecureServe Academy™ program constitutes acceptance of this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in consequences up to and including account suspension and credential revocation.

1. Academic Integrity

The integrity of the certification process depends on authentic individual assessment. Academic integrity is non-negotiable.

Independent Work

All quiz and examination responses must be the independent work of the enrolled student. You may not receive assistance from another person during any assessment. The use of unauthorized resources (including sharing questions with other students or consulting answer key materials) during an assessment is a violation of this policy.

Prohibition on Sharing Exam Content

You may not share, publish, distribute, or otherwise disclose examination questions, answer options, answer keys, or any other assessment content from SecureServe Academy™ programs, in any format or medium. This prohibition applies during enrollment and after program completion.

Prohibition on Impersonation

You may not permit another person to access your account to complete assessments on your behalf. You may not access another student's account to complete assessments on their behalf. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent examination policies is a violation of this Code and of the Terms of Service.

Authentic Engagement

The curriculum at SecureServe Academy™ is designed to produce competent practitioners. Students are expected to engage with the instructional content in good faith — reading the material, reflecting on its application to professional practice, and completing assessments based on genuine comprehension. Strategies designed to pass assessments without meaningful engagement with the curriculum violate the spirit of this policy.

2. Professional Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally in all interactions with the Academy, including communications with support staff and, where applicable, other students.

  • Communications with Academy staff must be respectful and professional in tone
  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing communications directed at Academy staff or other students will not be tolerated and may result in account suspension
  • Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory conduct toward other students in any platform-connected environment is prohibited
  • False or misleading statements made to Academy staff in connection with support requests, refund requests, or academic integrity inquiries are a violation of this Code

3. Proper Use of Credentials

SecureServe Academy™ certifications are professional development credentials issued by SecureServe Academy™. Students who have earned a credential are permitted — and encouraged — to represent it accurately. Accurate representation means:

  • Identifying the credential as a professional development certificate issued by SecureServe Academy™
  • Not representing the credential as a government license, state authorization, or regulatory approval
  • Not representing the credential as a credential from a government agency or from an institution other than SecureServe Academy™
  • Not using the credential name in a way that implies a scope of practice or regulatory status beyond what the credential represents

4. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

All course materials — including module content, lesson text, quizzes, examinations, Professional Playbooks™, and supplementary resources — are the proprietary intellectual property of SecureServe Academy™. You are granted a personal license to use these materials for your own educational purposes. The following are prohibited:

  • Reproducing, copying, or distributing course content in any format
  • Sharing access to course materials with any person who has not enrolled in the program
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercializing course content
  • Uploading course materials to any external platform, website, or document repository

5. Account Security and Access

Your account credentials are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your login credentials with any other person, and you may not allow any other person to access your account.

If you become aware that your account has been accessed without your authorization, you must notify SecureServe Academy™ immediately.

6. Consequences for Violations

SecureServe Academy™ takes violations of this Code of Conduct seriously. Consequences vary based on the nature and severity of the violation and may include any or all of the following:

Written warningFor minor or first-time violations of platform policy
Exam invalidationWhere an assessment is determined to have been completed in violation of academic integrity policy
Account suspensionTemporary or permanent suspension of access to the platform and all enrolled programs
Credential revocationRevocation of any certificate of completion issued to the student, with permanent notation in the credential record
Legal referralWhere violations involve intellectual property infringement, fraud, or other matters warranting legal action

Determinations regarding violations and consequences are made by SecureServe Academy™ at its discretion. Students who believe a determination was made in error may submit a written appeal to the Certification Integrity & Compliance Department at compliance@secureserveacademy.com.

Appeals must be submitted in writing within 14 calendar days of the determination. The Certification Integrity & Compliance Department will review the appeal and may request additional information. A written decision will generally be issued within 15 business days. The decision of the Academy following appeal review is final.
